Cook’s Library with Patsy column for February 2013 in Kansas Living

This month’s column is all about connecting and how some of that is done over food. Our brains are built to thrive when we engage with other people. Being connected makes us happier.

Aside from my “real life” friends I see regularly, I’m blessed to connect with people every day in social media. Sometimes I get to enjoy a surprise connection when someone recognizes me from this column or some other avenue, or invites me to speak. I’m always delighted with all of those opportunities.

The cookbook is from the ’s group that started 30 years ago and has members from Junction City to Kansas City. It has more than 300 recipes in it and is available for $12.50 and that includes the shipping and handling. Order from Virginia Easton, 10855 Highway 13, Manhattan KS 66502.
