January Cook’s Library Column in Kansas Country Living

I’m flattered beyond belief that they’re planning to put me on the cover of the January issue of Kansas Country Living to celebrate 20 years of this column. Although it’s hard to believe, January does mark two decades since the first column appeared.

A friend took photos of me with some different items. We took a photo of me with a coconut pie at his mom’s kitchen at Thanksgiving, and then did some in my kitchen with a number of different props, including my mother’s recipe card box and rolling pin.

It’s quite exciting and humbling.

Things you might learn about me include:

  • I love vintage hand-crochet potholders
  • My kitchen is bright yellow, blue and white
  • I make ugly pie crusts

Thanks for sharing these years with me! In this issue I share some of my favorite, go-to recipes. I really love to bake, so indulge your sweet tooth!.
