Mid Century Cooking
Being a fan of vintage cookbooks, I was fascinated by this article and thought I’d share it with you. It provides an interesting look at the food of the mid-twentieth century from someone who is actually cooking from their vintage cookbooks.
I confess I am more interested in mine as time capsules and not as actual cooking guides. However, I do love the little snippets I run across sometimes like this bit about fingerbowls and doilies from the 1930 edition of the New Delineator Cookbook.
